A COLLABORATION BETWEEN KMSP AND MATA GARUDA DIY IN ORGANIZING ENTREPRENEURSHIP WORKSHOP

A country can be prosperous if 2% of its citizens are the best entrepreneurs. Therefore, Keluarga Mahasiswa Sekolah Pascasarjana (KMSP), the State University of Yogyakarta, in collaboration with Mata Garuda DIY, held an Entrepreneurship Workshop with the theme 'Successful Strategy in Developing Business Idea and Business Proposal.' The workshop happens on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 1 p.m., in the Imam Barnadib Building, 7th floor. This activity is held with the purpose of growing the sense of entrepreneurship for the young generation as well as socializing the business competition that is held by Lembaga Pengelolaan Dana Kependidikan (LPDP) or the Educational Fund Management Institution that is 5ME2045: LPDP Business Competition.

The workshop began with welcoming speech videos from the Chairperson of Garuda Pusat and Mr. Andin as the President Director of LPDP, then continued with remarks from the Director of Postgraduate School, represented by Dr. Amat Jaedun and remarks from Mrs. Sheria Betania as the Head of Subdivision of LPDP alumnus). This Entrepreneurship Workshop is expected to encourage participants to explore and develop business ideas that can later be included in the 5ME2045 activity: LPDP Business Competition. Therefore, the central LPDP team is also present to socialize the flow of the competition. In this session, participants were directed and guided directly to register for the LPDP Business Competition, conducted directly by the LPDP PIC.

The event continued with the core event of delivering material from the speakers, namely Taufiq Hidayat S.Kom., MBA (CEO of Jogja Translator) and Alfan Helmidamara, S.Pt. (SEO Specialist at RWS Group UK& Talentvis Pte. Ltd Singapore). The material presented by the speakers was divided into two essential topics: how to compile business proposals and develop business ideas. This seminar involved the participants interacting with the speaker for question and answer discussion. The speakers also conveyed tips and tricks that the participants can do to be successful in entrepreneurship.

The workshop was attended by 105 participants from students and the general public. All participants were very enthusiastic about participating in this seminar. After attending this seminar, it is hoped that all participants can participate in the LPDP Business Competition. As a result, this activity can impact the birth of young entrepreneurs who are able to contribute to economic improvement to welcome Golden Indonesia in 2045.
