Millennials Build Happy Families

Sunday (29/11) Virtual pre-marriage guidance is a work program of Guidance and Counseling Study Program with the theme "Millennial Generations Build Happy Families" which aims to provide information to the public, especially for teenage aged 17-22 years on how important it is to plan a wedding. The activity, which was attended by 65 people from various agencies, was carried out with the delivery of material by 3 speakers with different themes. The first material discusses reproductive health which was delivered by dr. Avionita Rahma as a doctor at the Gondokusuman District Health Center. Through this material, it is hoped that adolescents can pay more attention to their reproductive health by taking care and being aware of their own reproductive health. The second material was delivered by Ms. Putri Inti Wijaya, S.Pd, who discussed self-readiness on the personal aspect. The discussion that was delivered included problem solving in the household, emotional maturity, interpersonal readiness, age readiness, and also mental readiness for individuals to marry. Furthermore, the last material was delivered by the head of BP4 Gondokusuman District, namely Mrs. Dra. Praise Karyawati with financially healthy material that discusses financial preparation for a happy family. This material contains about how to prepare family financial management. This activity was moderated by Ms. Hani Nurrofifah, S.Pd and the presenter by Sdri. Asfarina Mutiara, S.Pd, student of UNY 2019 Postgraduate Guidance and Counseling. The pre-marriage guidance was opened by Mr. Ghufron Su'udi, S.Ag as the head of KUA, Gondokusuman District and attended by Prof. Dr. Edi Purwanta, M.Pd as the student supervisor. The hopes conveyed are how the millennial generation can really prepare carefully, what things support the realization of a happy family through the material presented so that teenagers are truly ready to prepare for future marriages.
